The Turbex windmill is the modern version of the traditional windmill where the well-proven helical screw pump is driven with wind power. The concept was a major breakthrough in windmill technology.
Turbex pumps are also used for renewable energy, stock watering, rural drinking water, filling of overhead tanks, irrigation, push water over great distances with a high head, commercial farming, mine, and industrial pumping. It can generate electricity?
Turbex Windmills: Due to the rotary axel the machine gives plenty of additional applications. Generating electricity while pumping water is now possible thanks to the wind and this rotary windmill technology.
The permanent magnet generator can be installed in the tower in line with the pump rods. It uses the extra torque in the gearbox configuration and can charge a battery bank via our charge controller.
